A pandemic isn’t going to stop Alisa Clickenger from building connections among motorcycle riders. No. She has moved her company’s tour experience to an online environment by offering virtual motorcycle conferences.
Companies offering motorcycle tours have been hit hard by the effects of the corona virus and like most other tourism businesses they have been left scrambling. But innovation is born out of necessity and Alisa Clickenger and her team at Women’s Motorcycle Tours may be leading the way.
“It was really great to feel everybody come together.”Alisa Clickenger, founder Women’s Motorcycle Tours
In late April, her company hosted a virtual Women’s Motorcycle Conference that attracted 348 registrants from nine different countries. The conference featured 25 speakers, 14 workshops, three different connection sessions and two panel discussions. As Alisa said, “It was really great to feel everybody come together.”
Alisa Clickenger joined me on Ep 12 of Bedtime Stories with The Motelorcyclist to talk about her bestselling book Boost Your Confidence Through Motorcycling: A Woman’s Guide to Being Your Best Self On and Off the Bike, and two new conferences she is organizing including a non-gender specific event in June called RevvTalk.
